The mission of the Robson Valley Arts and Culture Council is to promote arts and culture and to increase and broaden the opportunities for the residents of Robson Valley Arts and Culture Council community to participate in and enjoy cultural activities and shall include:
a) Coordinating the work and programs of artists and cultural organizations in the area
b) Stimulating and encouraging the development of arts and cultural projects and activities
c) Rendering services to all participating groups
d) Receiving and disseminating information on arts and cultural programs and activities
e) Fostering interest in and participating in the preservation of cultural facilities and institutions and
the cultural heritage of the community
f) Interpreting the work of arts and cultural groups to the community, enlisting public interest and
promoting public understanding
g) Contributing to the development of cultural polices at the local, regional and provincial levels
h) Promoting the cultural needs of the community at the local, regional and provincial levels
